Don't change too much. Your comments are usually very critical and very technically correct, even if they might offend a project owner.

For what it's worth, in the book "On assholes, a theory" the author states at some point, "How do I know if I am an asshole?". And the answer is that if you ask yourself this question, then very probably you aren't an asshole.
