Obviously the indexed text of this book is not actually from 1891, given that the very next sentence talks about 1926 in the past tense.

Because this is Volume 39, which was actually published in 1954, not 1891.[1]

Search the book for 1954, or any year before then, you will get results. Search for 1955 and you get nothing.
