For someone who has been coding in Rails for years but hasn't ever done the testing side of things, would you recommend working through your book or looking at other resources to get up to speed?


As someone who is very familiar with testing from a JavaScript perspective yet is just getting started with rails, I have to really applaud the testing approach in the latest draft edition. It is very well done as well as a marvelous introduction.


I'd guess the 3rd edition of the Ruby on Rails Tutorial would be an excellent place to start for learning the basics of testing.
