I am making a web-site to propose GitHub projects to people looking to start contribution to projects. I am still in the beginning stages and I am looking for suggestions on how to improve the results. To do this I would like to know what people look for when they are searching for an open source project to contribute to?

For reference here is the site: http://gilles-leblanc.github.io/dispatcher/ And here is the GitHub page: https://github.com/gilles-leblanc/dispatcher

Currently, I am looking for a networking related project, which uses C, and has good design, that can help increase understanding of C sockets and networking.
