In the US, it's easier to get a loan to buy a business than it is to get a loan to start a business. That tells you all you need to know.


That makes sense though. An existing business is a known quantity where is a new business isn't. It's easier to assess the risk of something that already exists.


Sure. Then, the system becomes unbalanced - with lots of capital chasing fewer deals. Companies become overpriced generally. And, I think that can lead to an issue.
