You can put a fork in Donald Trump—he’s done (cato.org)

Yes, but when? The problem is that his only route to staying out of prison is to become president again. So he’ll pull out all the stops. He’ll delay, defer and postpone this case as he has every one before, he’ll bluster and threaten and cajole maintain some semblance of his image.

So maybe he makes it to election season. (Look at his past performance in delaying tactics, he’ll make it) If he doesn’t get the Republican nomination he will run independent. He doesn’t care that this splits the vote because he doesn’t give a shit about the party or anyone but himself. Which means the party either has to take a 100% chance or failure or a 20% chance that he can pull a rabbit out of the hat again. I can’t say for sure but I know what I’d do. It’s the prisoners dilemma solution where you straight up tell your opponent that you’ll defect and they might get something from you if they play nice.

So he tries again. And this time the kid gloves are off. Everything is on the table. Literally everything.

And that should be unsettling to anyone with a bit of imagination.

This isn’t over. This is just the beginning.

If the Republican Party had half a brain, they'd not just be worried about 2024. They'd dump Trump, take whatever beating they get in 2024, do well in 2026, and run anybody but Trump against Harris in 2028. They'd probably dominate 2028.

Yeah, I'm worried about that too. I hear echoes of the Roman Civil War. Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon with his army because it was his only alternative to being destroyed by his political enemies. Trump is in the same position. (I mean, Trump is there almost totally because of his own doing, far more than Caesar was.)

The main difference is that the US army is not personally loyal to Trump, the way Caesar's army was to him. Trump may call for an uprising; way too many people may follow. I hope it's not enough to cause a full civil war, though.

Trump's the Trumpet -- whether you like it or not.

If you don't have a spiritual understanding of what is REALLY going on, you'll just increase your confusion reading nonsense like this.

NOTHING IS LIKE IT SEEMS. Never been more true in history of mankind.

We all will see the collapse of the Old System, and a New System arise. Many surprises are awaiting! Not everyone will like it, but most WILL, I can assure you!!

Let's go America, get rid of the cancer.

But he's not the cancer. He's one of the prominent systems, but the cancer runs much, much deeper.

He received 75 million votes in 2020, more than anybody in American history (except his opponent). Even if he disappears tomorrow, those 75 million people are looking for somebody reading from the same playbook. There are several candidates who want to fulfill that role, and a large number of politicians at every level who want to follow it as well.

His is not forcing himself upon the Republican party. They want him, and his style of politics. They could have impeached him, without losing control of the White House, but chose not to. They like what he is doing.

We can "get rid" of him, but we can't get rid of the actual problem.

This problem has two sides. Yes, the voters being morons is part of it. But the fact that someone caters to them is also part of it. Especially someone who's skilled at catering to them. He's not just the symptom, he also reinforces the cause.
