If this doesn't demonstrate how over-reaching and insane police power is I don't know what will. I'm a privacy advocate but also generally don't support shrinking police head counts / general "defund" narratives (as I've lived in NYC and seen the direct negative results of these policies).

Do police need armored vehicles, body armor, and assault rifles (or access to this kind of data) NO.


What's needed is TOUGH privacy laws. No access to data without warrants.
