Bing is censoring search results for Alex Berenson’s Substack (reclaimthenet.org)

They're using a deliberately malformed query to search, then complaining when they get no results.

At best it's incompetence, at worst it's an attempt at free marketing, how many people are searching for this guy now and getting links directly to his stuff?

This is entirely OK. Microsoft owns Bing. Bing is Microsoft's property. Microsoft can do what it wants with its property. Anything else is socialism.

Isn't this the same guy that proved through discovery that Twitter suspended his account at the explicit direction of government officials, despite Twitter employees repeatedly saying he violated no part of the ToS? Do you also think that is socialism?

Yes. Everything I don't like is socialism. Socialism is almost as bad as terrorism.

From HN guidelines:

Eschew flamebait. Avoid unrelated controversies, generic tangents, and internet tropes.

Kudos to them, any search engine that de-prioritizes Substack and Medium is on the right track.

Alex Berenson is basically an anti-vaxxer so I understand suppressing his dangerously incorrect information. He probably won't take responsibility for the lives lost due to vaccine-hesitancy will he?

If so, then the CEO of Pfizer is himself creating a lot of hesitancy by getting Covid despite four shots.

It appears to demonstrate the vaccine* ineffectual, thereby making people hesitant to use it, no?

* Using the definition of "vaccine" from 6 months ago, not the recent redefinition.

No, it doesn't mean the vaccine is ineffectual. It means it loses potency after a while. The antibodies it helps generate don't last forever in the body. Also there are several variants of the virus around. The vaccine was most effective against the first version of the virus.

So it appears. Appearances may deceive, though. See if you can find any source that says that vaccine doses are being discarded and it has nothing to do with their use-by date.

The use-by dates are remarkably strict on these vaccines. Use all doses of a bottle within hours of opening it, use within days of removing from a dark freezer, use within months even if stored in a dark freezer.
