But regardless of circumstances leading to the event, what do you think you would do if you saw murders and rape right on your doorstep? Honest question by the way - there are plenty of examples of pacifists standing up to violence following a pacifist ethos.

I do think that a pacifist can stand up to violence, but I don’t think working in the defense industry is the way to do that.

The more wars I study, the more I realize the genius of MLK and Gandhi. Violence just begets violence.
