You can hire managers but this doesn't mean you'll be successful without learning the ropes yourself. If you are serious about starting a business, learning the management side as well as all the various supporting groups like HR, legal, finance is going to be a must. You don't have to be a deep expert in any of these, but you absolutely need a good enough understanding to manage the people managing these areas.
