Feels like there is lots of interesting devices in the portable computing world from the 80s. Once a truly practical laptop came out (around the time of the PowerBook 160 I guess? I’m sure there was some IBM compatible equivalent of that also) then it became obvious that the laptop was what people wanted. But before that? Lots of unique, more compact products trying to become successful.
