I charge new software feature development to Capex, while bug fixes go to Opex. My question is if software features are realized as Capex after the US/Europe imposed sanctions on Russia, making them post sanction capital investments, are they prohibit from distribution to sanctioned countries? As a company in the USA (or I guess Europe) am I only allowed to distribute bug fixes to sanctioned companies but not new features, if I Capex'd my feature development time?
