My social media is deadish too but idk if that's what people talk about when they say social media is a problem. I think it's more like endless scrolling of suggested content like when you run out of new posts on Instagram or explore page, or I think tiktok does something similar. Twitter and Facebook give you suggested posts and related but unconnected posts that go on and on.
