Don't those things need a facebook account also?

Please tell me there is a way to get rid of Facebook out of quest 2

I'm using https://github.com/basti564/Oculess which works well for removing facebook. Caveats: * most of the UI is broken * you can only run untrusted sideloaded apks * some telemetry services have to be stopped after each reboot * you might still need facebook for initial setup (haven't tried it)

Haven't tried it myself, and it has some caveats, but it does make it possible to use the Quest 2 without Facebook.

Just create one!
