How to lie with statistics. 'Real Disposable Income' on the charts means nation's combined income, which largely tracks working population growth. Median real household income didn't triple since 1975 as the author wants you to think. It grew by a moderate 30-50%.

So yeah, U.S. housing prices are as crazy as you think.
