I feel like that did more to help this problem than everything else I've ever done. Furthermore: insisting my job remain remote has also been a great help. No more commute. It's still not enough.

It's interesting that your two actions you talk about also have significant benefits for yourself.

I think real change is going to require a lot of sacrifice, and won't be a win-win for everyone.
