The realism in the POV physics is pretty astounding, camera-shake and all. It's like you're there!

Because it's real people recorded with a VR headset I think. :) There's a bit at the end where you can record yourself too

Yeah - it was open submission for anyone using a headset with 6DOF controllers. At the time that was Rift or Vive.

It was originally an interactive 'WebVR' music video / research project done by LCD Soundsystem and Google back in 2017. Here's a video about how they made it.
