Language is such a weird reach for a progressive critique of To Kill a Mockingbird. It's a book about a false rape allegation!

This comment is so weird. It seems we're starting to treat adults like children. Don't say the "n" word, don't say the "r" word.

I think I understand where it comes from, but to me this safe bubble that is trying to be created, generates more problems than solves.

EDIT: Like someone commented below, it just gives those words more power when used in derogatory way.
