In other words little support but not yet disproven. Young earth creationism isn’t valid science and thus doesn’t even share the same reality let alone being on the fringe of reality.

Yup, by fringe I meant "On the edge of what reasonable people are working on". But maybe it's not a great term if people misunderstand.
