It's Dijkstra. I can understand complaining about not knowing the date of a post by Yegge, but did you really expect anything written by Dijkstra to be dated newer than 2002?
No, but there's a big difference between 1975 and 2002. The fact that the author is famous or dead is irrelevant here.
When I read an article submitted on HN, I can safely assume it was written within the past few months. If it isn't the case, I can't make assumptions about its year of publication (OK, I can assume it was written within the author's lifetime but that doesn't really help).
