We had some tough negotiations on my salary 2 years ago and I wanted to express my willingness to share the 'pain'. So far she hasn't taken me up on it. *I don't know how to take the fact she hasn't taken me up on it :/ but I do adore the company ~ 13 years in service.

May be quite a smart move. The "kill list" order should (rationally) be heavily influenced by the total compensation.
