Why should I be embarrassed for dumping some weekend coding garbage just to keep HR happy that everyone is expected to have something on Github?

Everyone here knows my stuff long time ago, or is knowledgeable enough to find it, given that my online life goes back to the BBS days, do you think it embarrasses me, really?
