It's really surprising to me that people still fall for the $1.99 trick. When I see any price I instantly round it up to the nearest dollar, hundred, thousand, etc. It makes comparisons so much easier!
I bet you don't. In the sense that if you were under extreme surveillance and someone analyzed all your purchasing decisions there would be a detectable difference in your behavior based on the "99 cent trick".
It's a pretty well known cognitive bias to overestimate ones resistance to cognitive biases.
