There is nothing Apple can do. In the name of profits, they have put their entire business in the hands of the Chinese government.

That's just silly. Foxconn would do nothing of the sort.


I don't know if it is just silly. Their IP is in the wind.

The third shift is a real phenomenon for brands manufacturing in China even under good circumstances. I am simply extrapolating from that reality.


They would if the Chinese government ordered them to as a retaliatory measure. I'm sure that wasn't off the table when they were discussing it.


Also, China is 1/3 of their sales. It's not only profits but probably long term survival.
