I'd say just don't put the commercial version in a public code repo where other folks could easily use it. But if you avoid that, open souce projects would definitely qualify for our $20 non-profit license.

Well, the real problem is that every resource is available for folks to use, even those that aren't intended (typefaces have the same problem).
