I'm certain the ads will be introduced in an easily identifiable and ignorable way. People will acclimate, user behavior will be analyzed, and over time the dial will ever so slowly be turned up to optimize for draining as much attention and money from the consumer as possible.
You'll just need to run a small local model to filter out the ads. And they just become another one of those silly arms races between the ad makers and the ad blockers and we all burn more electricity.
Blockchain the the internet seem to have stabilized. The internet as fast video capable links between computers, blockchain as a tech for speculation, gambling and some criminal stuff. AI has not and is still on the exponential bit of the S curve.
At some point the voice mode started throwing in 'umm' and 'soOoOoo.." which lands firmly in uncanny valley. I don't exactly want 'robot' but I don't want it to pretend it has human speech quirks either.
I actually think people on 4chan and even reddit don’t get angry that quickly because it’s an anonymous posting board so there’s nothing to be defensive about, unless you’re really invested on an opinion, which makes me suspect this even more, why would he start cursing when he was just bragging about spending 70k?
It I posted on reddit about how I just spent 70k on a watch and someone replied that they didn’t trust me, maybe I would laugh or reply with “whatever”, but never would I reply in anger.
Maybe you wouldn’t, but something the past few years have made abundantly clear is that that having more money is not correlated to having a thicker skin and being able to ignore criticism. Or if it is, it’s an inverse correlation.
