If Konsole suits your needs, there is no reason to move to Ghostty. You may find better performance or access to more terminal features, but if those don't move the needle for you, then it doesn't matter. Konsole is well integrated in to KDE.

Ghostty uses GTK + GPU rendering while Foot uses Wayland primitives and CPU rendering.

I've seen zero performance issues with foot.

My comment was not to imply that Ghostty performed better than Foot. Foot is a great terminal.

That ZSH feature is builtin to readline, so you can use it in a ton of shells.

I'm pretty certain that exists, at least on macOS, but I don't use that feature. I just follow development.

Every fire has an ignition, and climate change is not an ignition like a lit cigarette or a lightning strike. It merely creates conditions.

I didn't claim anything about publications. I complain about the media coverage. If you want the source, you can go to YouTube and watch German Tageschau, a central news outlet. Every report of fire was followed by brainwashing about climate change. It was similar in most of the major Western European news coverage.
