I am also of the opinion that LLMs are still pretty bad at what's called "Low level design" - that is structuring functions and classes in a project. I wonder if a rule like torvalds' "No more than 4 levels of indentation" might make them work better.

> There is a reason why if you aren't in a Tier 1 tech hub like SV, NYC, Beijing, Hangzhou, TLV, Bangalore, and Hyderabad you are increasingly out of the loop for a number of changes that are happening within the industry.

I am in one of these tech hubs (Bangalore) and I have never seen any such practitioner pervasively using these "AI executive assistants". People use chatgpt and sometimes the AI extensions like copilot. Do I need to be in HSR layout to see these "number of changes"?

X (formerly twitter)-tier generalization.

It’s an NPR article about a peer-reviewed academic study. It’s the exact opposite of Twitter.

Peer-reviewed implies a certain minimum level of authentic research, but it doesn't guarantee much of it.

Its true. Only problem we avoid speaking such things to westerners is that your left-brained 90IQ liberal arts media picks it up and spins as an anti-brahmin narrative (who are less than 10%) while most perpetrators of such crimes are landholding classes (often grouped as "other backward caste" for political reasons).

Am I understanding correctly that because westerners tend to misappropriate caste problems, you keep the lid on it ?

I don't know where you place 2020's CNN on the left/right scale but Brahmin is not named in this news : https://edition.cnn.com/2020/07/01/tech/cisco-lawsuit-caste-...

In that specific case it probably is Brahmin discrimination though. The previous poster was talking about the murdering.

They are also under fire for putting misleading adverts in low-income countries like Brazil and India, sounding like they are going to be sold if they don't get enough donation.
