Thanks for trying. In free tier, I have included couple of projects to give people an idea of what the tool is about. As of now, I have limited the ability to create your own project because in the backend once you create a project, I embed the modules and functions and generate various snippets. Each snippet is a function with some usage context from codebase to give module/function summaries. Embedding these costs some money and I wanted to ensure that I am creating a tool which adds real value to people. So I have given very limited free access.
The first things we get when we open the website a signup popup. And I can't skip the signup. I don't know what is this and how it works but the website is forcing me to signup. I think this is a poor UX. I should be able to see and test before giving my email which in all likelihood will be used to spam me.
https://teachyourselfcs.com . I have read few books from the list and found it to be comprehensive as well as manageable. The courses and books have been selected so that one can study it outside of regular university course. Books are self contained and full with exercises. It can easily take 1-2 years of serious effort to get through the material.
Is the recommendation to do the book AND the related video course for each subject or it's either or..? Or use the video course as needed if/when the book isn't enough?
It is not that work friends can not be long term friends. I met one of my closest friend when we were working for a startup. There is something about big companies which prevents people from making true friends. And I think it is the collective belief that "work friends are not true friends". People don't want to share their mind freely with each other and there is good reason for that. We fear that we might speak something which is inappropriate. We are trying to be politically correct all the time. I am pretty sure I have offended people during college but that didn't not matter in long term. One can't always be just neutral or positive.
I had the same experience. I bought cherry mx brown and on day 1, I thought I need to give it sometime to feel its superiority. I thought I am typing the wrong way and I need to relearn how much force I apply. There seems to be no consensus on how deep I should go. So I tried both bottoming out and till the bump. But I only feel the bump if I am focusing on it. If I go in work mode, I don't get any feedback and thus miss so many keys. I have been using it for 2 months and I feel it was waste of money.
I was a night owl. I would sleep around 2-3AM. Then I started working out and Stopped drinking coffee. These days, I feel tired by 11 and wake up around 7AM.
Thank you very much. After watching 3B1B linear algebra videos, I wished there was a more in-depth interactive tutorial. You made exactly what I wished.
