I see the site claims to save fuel, is this in the form of providing routing? I assume that patching data needs to get in to the autopilot system at some point, how does that work?

More predictable routes and minimizing encounters with CAT can indeed help reduce fuel consumption while maintaining safety. This is a relatively small saving for each flight which can add up to a big chunk at the end of the year.

1/d * 1wk seems like a low threshold for problems

Now seeing a 404

His main mistake was skiing this in front of a park ranger.

Similar experience with a company this year for a new grad position, they wanted me to come to 30hr unpaid hackathon hosted in the evenings.

I'm sure the signal they get is pretty good, but I'm also sure they filter outany candidates that don't want to put up with BS like this.

Interested in the Junior oppurtunity, but all I see is a Senior Backend Engineer on the site.

Feel free to apply now. Details are not published yet.

they haven't hired that guy you're replying to!

> junior devs straight out of no-name universities getting jobs easily

I'm a soon-to-be grad from a Top 5 Canadian school with multiple internships (no big names, unfortunately), it's been very difficult for me to get callbacks. In fact my ratio of getting past the first screen is about 2/125.

I would blame your experience more on the market.

Just downloaded. Doesn't seem to want to download Wikipedia on my phone, it says "detecting if filesystem supports 4gb files"

yeah -_-. graduating in april and just hoping I can get something in the field
