I expressed my discontent to them as well and just received this reply:
"I'm afraid there is no way to disable this at the moment, and it's not in the roadmap to roll back on this feature. That said, we're still in the initial stages here, so our focus right now is listening to feedback as we consider certain changes for improvement as we move forward. You've raised some fair points here, so I've shared your feedback with my team for consideration in the future."
So their rollout methodology here was to go live with beta software, on production servers, to paying customers, and force them to find the bugs. Brilliant!

As our QA Engineer, you will:
Take responsibility for the full test lifecycle across our products - frontend, backend and API. Design and implement automated tests. Manage and assist with manual testing to ensure all requirements are met. Create and carry out test plans which result in detailed and actionable bug reports. As a Full Stack Developer you’ll need diverse set of skills, ranging from frontend development, building RESTful APIs to debugging iptables. There are lots of interesting engineering problems to solve, such as calculating the availability across hundreds of listings with thousands of bookings within milliseconds to serve our search results. Querying multiple geospatial data sources for the best parking space for drivers. Orchestrating containers to provide zero-downtime for our web booking platforms as well as our VoIP booking platform.

Interview process
We usually review and reply to applications within 48h (either way) if it looks like a good fit we'll arrange a short phone call with someone from the team you'll be joining. Next is a technical task which you can complete in your own time and shouldn't take more than a couple of hours. After that will be onsite interviews with your team members and manager, we usually try and schedule this so you can join us for lunch as well. If all has gone well we'll make you an offer - we made an offer on the spot (which was accepted) for our last hire - obviously you're free to make the decision in your own time too.
