Well there was a service named Aiderss that did ranking based on internet popularity which was renamed PostRank[1]. Google bought the company behind it in 2011 and discontinued the service instead of integrating it in Google Reader.
One example of this is pud's launching of fandalism.com. When he announced the site on HN[1] some HNers complained about Facebook only login. But he was still able to get 400,000+ signups within 3 month[2].
Well for Google Drive you pay almost $30 annually for extra 25GB space. $10 per year for 20GB if you use SkyDrive. Plus both Google Drive and SkyDrive support online doc editing. So yes it is really too much for paying $10/month for 100GB space which I may not use fully for foreseeable future.

Not all devices will have 4 hours of battery life. For example core i5 Acer Iconia W700 is reported to have 7 hours of battery life by engadget http://www.engadget.com/2012/12/14/acer-iconia-w700-review/. Also intel clover trail is also reported to have good power efficiency. We will know the truth in next 6 month I hope.
Also there is a popular thinking among Apple apologists that Samsung is copying Apple and taking Apple's lunch. In reality Samsung single-handedly proved Apple wrong on various things. They created a market for "phablets", proved that stylus is still relevant in normal operation, content creation. If Apple have implemented half of the feature presented in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L930NbUKgJY Apple will be hailed for "revolutionary innovation". Until then Apple knows that users do not use these "features".
Stylus No. I have 3 co workers who have Galaxy Notes (or Note II) and none of them use the stylus while I've seen them. They all say it's nice, but none admit to it being key or even useful.
There is no killer app for the stylus, when an onscreen-keyboard or finger would do just as well. Even finger-based signatures are pretty easy with modern smartphones' capacative touchscreens.
The only thing a stylus allows is for UI elements and hit areas to be smaller - and not many folks (other than Win8 geeks it seems) are clamoring for that on their smartphone or tablet. In fact, I know folks who run iPhone apps on their iPad because the hit area is 4x larger and much more easy to operate.
The letters are composed into blocks describing syllables, rather than strings describing words as in Latin alphabets, but entering letters on the keyboard is the same.
Might help with Japanese but I can't really speak about that.
I would have praised him if he have made universities that are on par with Stanford, MIT (which would have cost 1/10th of cost of current development). They have seen shinny Vagus but failed to see why they shine.
Regrettably, there's more to great universities than throwing money at it. It's important to remember that the country has no educational history. 50 years ago the few inhabitants there were barely literate, and few of those who could read had ever read anything but the Quran.
That said, Abu Dhabi is actually trying to do just that. They're buying off entire departments of western universities, offering generous research grants if the department is relocated to Abu Dhabi. The idea is to bootstrap a tradition of higher education.
