I'm founder of Sellfy and we have many ebook publishers on our platform - we see what works and what doesn't so I'm happy to share few tips if you are interested.

Here are few quick tips:

1) Build your audience beforehand (email, social) as it will power your sales once you launch your book.

2) Try to do guest blogs and get reviews from other bloggers on your book. Send them free copies etc.

3) Launching is easy but holding the revenue steady requires a lot of work so plan to spend some time post-launch to promote your book.

*) To optimize revenue think about several pricing options.

Great to see Stripe expanging in Europe! We at Sellfy (http://sellfy.com/) just rolled out GPB support for Stripe UK users looking to sell their downloads. I guess the Euros for Ireland are next.

Sellfy hosts and delivers the file to the clients. We also provide merchants with tools for promotion and detail analytics so that they can track their sales and social network campaign impact. It's much more than a link :)

Thanks for your comment! In future we will plan to introduce some additional plans for established sellers as well.

I don't think you need special plans for established sellers. Here's what would get me on board: Convince me that your social hooks can sell more for me or lower fees at various levels (ie. drop to 4% after 50 sales in a month)

Try out http://sellfy.com/ - you can offer discounts for people who share your product with their Facebook/Twitter friends.

You can also setup freemium (in they sahre) - paid (if they want just buy) model.

Paypal also has a button widget for sending paid customers to download link. Of course Paypal takes its 3% taste of the kick.

Thank you! I ll try that.
