I was pretty skeptical that I'd get any traction, but I ended up connecting with a co-founder of Flat (flat.app), and within a few weeks I was on the team!
I am really grateful that I ended up giving it a shot as it's been a great experience so far - I have sharp coworkers who are eager to share their knowledge and generous with their time, I get exposure to all aspects of the product, and the impact of my work is visible and immediate. Best of all, we use our product to make our product, so I get to directly enjoy the fruits of my labor :)

Hi, I’m Marcin! I’m a former operations planning professional turned full stack software engineer, and I recently built Bard (https://bard-rr.com), an open-source, frontend observability solution that provides session replay and conversion analysis. I studied applied math at Harvard and am a quick and thorough learner, innately curious about how things work at a deep, detailed level. I’m a team player who loves interacting and collaborating with his coworkers, and I strive to have an open mind, actively seeking out feedback to continuously improve my work.
