I really love this guys!

Interesting, it reminds me "The Zurich Axioms"

i love scribd, more for the comunity (groups, friends, comments, related docs, etc) than for the ipaper itself.

but i'm afraid that if the site become too popular they will be teased by copyright, and ruin the whole site (for my personal usage).

Paul Who?

I never understood the (North) American "high school popularist fetichism". Must be a cultural self spreading virus (meme). I wonder how can you get rid of it? Because i haven't see such behaviour in South America, there the division is rather blured, the nerds are friends with everbody else, an the populars aren't so "elitists" and bulliers... that reminds me this clever bully fight back story: http://www.cbc.ca/canada/nova-scotia/story/2007/09/18/pink-t...

|| buy the specific seeds you want, and grow them yourself in your closet!

You can't grow a 10 foot Sativa plant in our closet. You're better off with a hybrid that's mostly Indica (smaller bushy plants). Which if you're looking for some motivation won't help you a great deal (will help your PS3 high scores though)

You're right, for pure sativas you would need a big closet. Maybe with a 75% s - 25% i, you can get close enough. (PS: i don't like to mix tech with thc).

Like McLuhan said, "We shape our tools, and then our tools shape us."

Exactly. Different observer, different models.

It's just another mind trick, enveloping the whole universe in something that we now understand (discret computer simulations).

Anyway, reality is an opinion, so any model is a valid model.

"reality is an opinion"

I like it. Can you explain further?

Off course immad, is based in the believe that using our brains as measurement tools for experiencing the universe we can only make models of it, partial maps (filtering a lot of information in the meanwhile). In this process we use our senses, experience, conditioning, prior beliefs, and other non-objective factors to create our unique map.

Every brain make his own reality tunnel (or reference frame) to experience the universe, and we may share some of it with other brains around (also called culture).

So if reality depends of the observer there must be more than one.
