Not true at all. Exits and switching lanes all require confirmation from the drivers in other cars, not in Teslas on FSD

This.

Just because something should exist, doesn't mean it can be created today. The effort to build and attract open source projects is a monumental task. Unless you're offering something BIG - there's alot of inertia to overcome.

I'd focus on building on top of the GitHub API to create those features you want. Not only will you focus your time on the unique stuff, GitHub can help with distribution and discovery.

When you say "we need" do you mean... "you want to see" ? The highest selling vehicles are trucks and so the company that makes the best selling car wants in. Seems logical and good for the industry

What's the point of your pedantry? Does it aggravate you to see people have the opinion that markets don't always reflect what is best for society?

Exactly ! The social stuff requires a network effect... hilarious that the makers of Facebook bet their chips on the same bet as their existing products. Apple knows it doesn't need groups of people to use this together, just enough early adopters to help pay for (and more importantly help guide) the user research and material advancement.

I'd bet that Ford is the only legacy American brand that will make it to 2033. And it's because of their heavy investment to manufacture more and not just assemble - great to see it happen

Better towing, lower maintenance... seems like ICE vehicles are going to need the government subsidy if anyone will even want them

>Better towing

What are you basing this on? Real world tests of the F150 EV seem to show it gets horrible efficiency while towing.

It doesn't tow better at all. The range is abysmal when you tow with it.

Why do all you EV diehards have to lie to push the product?

Less efficient inverters, worse aerodynamics, weaker motors, heavier interiors, and probably worse software (that one is an educated guess).

So like Vested?

No, it's the reverse of Vested.

Vested is for Indian residents to invest in US, we are for global NRIs to invest in Indian financial instruments.
