ripgrep's -Q is just -F, like grep. This is not enabled by default in either tool.
Otherwise, ag enables multiline search (assuming you have a version of ag where that even works) and smart case by default. With ripgrep, that's ` rg -US`.
This is really old now (I think 2000s) but even the jacks they lift the car with doesn’t drop with gravity alone - that’s too slow. They have some mechanism that actively drops the jack, so they can pull it away faster.
IMO it’s really hard to argue with the quality valve software is putting out. I can’t really name a game that isn’t considered a must play that they’ve made
Certainly better than where we are now but I never really loved it. It was to heavy for me, the search doesn't find files that are there reliably and the update system system sucked. Windows 7 always developed disk sucking WinSxS folder cancer, a particularly fatal disease during the early SSD era where space became a premium again.
It did have faster file copying though. I'd say it had 64-bit for more memory addressing but that was actually available with XP as well.
