Nice!

Cool idea for you:

Have one of the widgets as a photo album.

Upload some images, or maybe connect to a Google Drive folder.

Then every day it shows a family photo! :)

Yes, my dad actually suggested the exact same thing! I should definitely give it a thought.

I'm also planning to use the same Linux machine to serve family photos to our PS4 in the living room — the photos would be on an external hard drive connected to it, basically turning it into a home media server alongside HomeOS. One box quietly doing everything in the background. The photo widget would fit nicely into that setup since the images would already be on the machine.

XMPP is great. You can own your whole stack with no commercial restrictions.

If you're coming from Slack, this plugin is a game changer:

sudo prosodyctl install --server=https://modules.prosody.im/rocks/ mod_slack_webhooks

tox is this same, but you dont need install any program. just start

Use this instead!!!

This website is not very user friendly. Huge amount of assets to load, an unclear product, and a visually distracting experience.

probably built with Berd

Amazing. The hall of fame section is hilarious!

I don't want this. It's too complicated.

Plus it's vendor lock in.

Give it time. Soon you'll only be able to push using Github's CLI.

Other platforms have been doing it this way for over a decade, and I've found stacked diffs (with Phabricator and Gerrit at least, not tried the GH version yet) to massively simplify my workflow o_O

Worth it for what?

The "what" is important.

Neat, but this game seems too simple. I think AI has missed a core gameplay mechanic.

There needs to be something to stop a deadlock. Like an element of luck for the hares?

Think of this as a very old game, with a board simple enough you can trace it on the ground and play with a few stones, with rules simple enough you can explain/understand in 30 seconds. Like tic-tac-toe, mancala, nim, chopsticks... simplicity and portability wins over perfect rules or balance.

Neat as a pet project, but anyone thinking of using this is production is insane.

Rewriten in Rust is becoming a meme now.

Been a meme for a while now. I avoid that noise on principle.

Too little too late. Xbox is dying and PS won.

Try listening to your customers next time.

We don't want to be ripped off with paying for assets we don't own.

We don't want another monthly subscription.

We want the old games, remastered, with fully functioning multiplayer.

> We don't want to be ripped off with paying for assets we don't own.

You do know that PS is literally stopping physical games? You will not own anything.

> Too little too late. Xbox is dying and PS won.

Seems like currently PS is too determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

crazy second sentence which makes the rest of the comment not make any sense
