fossify gallery is great, but any idea how to only view videos? while there are sections for favorites, screenshots, and others, I don't see any for videos

Seems to be due to the detection area being not fully accurate. Green vs red shows the difference between actual and detected

There is an extra green square where no egg is present, so it's a false positive in the expected.

Being a bit cheeky here -- the amount of comments on this post is a telltale sign of how common / desirable refactoring is for the majority of developers (xD). It isn't our fault though, maybe if those pesky managers read this article then they would understand..

It's been on HN for 45 minutes. It's before 9am on the west coast

We're getting closer

Try my best to test their systems programming knowledge and general programming expertise, NOT leetcode or academic memorization;

stuff like the pros and cons of JWT, when orchestration is necessary, APIs vs message queues, their opinion on statically vs dynamically typed languages, etc

these questions don't tell you directly how efficient they will be on a project or language stack, but they DO tell you whether or not the person actually understands programming at a deeper and wider level, and not just experts at regurgitating generic PRs for your average 10LOC ticket

A local, static-image wallpaper manager (kinda like Wallpaper Engine but for directories of images) Made it for myself because windows wallpaper/background management is horrible lol, avail on linux though too

Give me feature suggestions!

can confirm, not able to scrub backwards. Maybe it requires iRewind™ premium?

it must be exhausting defending your leader after they backtrack their major decisions biweekly

and your conclusion on this situation says a lot about your current state of economic privilege and/or ignorance

As a devout supporter of Ukraine, I'm not sure it's fair to denounce the FOSS version of the app just because it was built by developers that reside in Russia. We all know that the company outwardly stating "we are against the invasion of Ukraine" wouldn't end well for them, and as long as you're not paying for it, I don't see a huge difference using this vs. your average American software (in which the developers also reside in a country with questionable government leadership). Enlighten me if I'm wrong though

It’s about trusting the build. You can’t always know what happened between source and release.

I'd trust a Linux distro build of a Russian FOSS product a bit more than a windows binary from their website. So trust here is context dependent, at least for me. I still use Audacity for example and it has similar ownership issues.
