Was he having a seizure on stage ? Is he ok ? Is he all there ? I don't know but I've got tears running down my cheeks and I have to see the Fall again as soon as possible. And then on stage in small venues, just electric. The combination of again the vocal performance but with the kraut rock / Can guitars. They were tight. A tight band with highly repetitive songs and stream of consciousness, rambling, often incoherent lyrics. I don't know how to analyze it, but "fiercely this". It's a touchstone for any music, for me: looking for that same reaction of "fiercely this".
