Do you realize how many times ive read your exact copy pasted comment on the internet the last 6 years?

That’s an interesting algorithm you use to classify anything driven by an algorithm.

A time posted sort is an algorithm too. But that's obviously not what's meant here even if the "gotcha" is there for that too. It's the combination of profitability motivations and manipulation of dopamine responses that are the outcomes people object to.

AI can compress AI nearly losslessly.

Only Minecraft is Minecraft. Is that the bar for creating Minecraft?

It just kills me how there is this meme that minecraft is just walking around on a bunch of grass and dirt voxels and if you have that, you have minecraft. It was way, way more complicated than that even 15 years ago.

The type of people that can’t get results are the people that don’t share the process that didn’t work for them.

Its been months since then!

Many of us use LLMs to generate code, tools and other artifacts without agents.

Could you give me an example? Like a real example of an LLM based application with no chat? Now that I think of it something like Tavily comes to mind as an example.

You need to operate at a higher level of abstraction.

I don't buy that. If I give AI a high-level task and expect it to fill in the blanks on the lower level details, it makes horrendous decisions, trust me I tried. I tried treating my agents as a team of engineers and I am a "high level" engineering manager. It quickly built broken features.

It’s profoundly more solved than most anyone realizes, including yourself. It will be very clear within the next 3 months.

Yeah, even three months is already too late. Back at 4.8, it was already a solved problem.

There probably will be a step beyond "LLM writes code" though.

Altman has no shares in OpenAI.
