Frustrated by the complexity and high overhead of most monitoring tools, I wrote Simon.

It’s a single binary, dependency-free monitor in Rust that does it all: metrics, Docker, alerts, and file browsing. While maintaining a minimal footprint for embedded systems and other constrained hardware.

Thermal printers usually don't have a lot of variety. The main difference among them is the width of the paper they use: some utilize 58mm paper, while others use 80mm. As far as I know Epson printers are one of the best in terms of build quality and longetivity. In my experience, the print quality tends to remain consistent across different printer models, with paper quality playing a more significant role in the final output. Personally, I've had success using an affordable option; a Chinese second-hand Cashino CSN-A1 58mm printer. It performs quite well =)
