I've yet to find a more suitable use for a tablet. Maybe the whole device class is cooked.

They're not bad for note-taking in STEM courses.

For math classes where the instructor requires you to upload the work I use OneNote on my desktop (copy in the homework problem) and tablet (do the work).

HD+ is 17 years old already (German hd broadcast for private channels). One of its features were no skipping commercials in your own recordings.

It was (pretty much) just dot files and curated software, although I think that description downplays the value of having a perfectly tuned system out of the box - like saying a log cabin is just a bunch of sticks. The assembly matters and the end result is something greater than the sum of its parts.

That aside, the latest release (Quattro) has also added a bunch of bespoke software (technically quickshell configuration, if you don't want to call it software) which has added a new layer of polish. For my taste it has been a real joy to use and a lot of fun to explore and play around with. Could be worth checking out if you haven't looked in a while!

Not a user, but from what I gather it does stuff like synchronize themes of ALL applications across the OS.

So when you change the "omarchy" theme to something, every single application installed uses the same theme. They even paid money to get proper theming support added to software so they could do this.

A bit beyond "dotfiles" IMO.

If you've used Linux enough, you understand that's done with dotfiles.

And I've never gotten into using my phone for anything outside of calls messages and navigation. The web is the worst on tiny vertical screens.

It's an older card running on high/ultra quality settings in those benchmarks. I would be more interested in low/medium settings.

Touch goes in there as well. I don't know how they add a new touch keyboard to KDE and have no access to arrow keys. Making it impossible to go up in the terminal.

A good music track does not _need_ a video, but some videos definitely can enhance the music or are just amazing by themselves.

'Sabotage' by the Beastie Boys (Spike Jones), 'Hunter' by Bjork (Paul White), 'Praise You' by Fatboy Slim (also Spike Jones), ... er Billie Eilish 'When The Party's Over', Apex Twin's Windowlicker (Chris Cunningam). There are so many great music videos that are more than just the song.

Of course, some are just the artist singing in front of a greenscreen, and that's fine I suppose. Still, they are fundamentally different to an excellent music video.
