I am master's student in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota. My main focus has been on machine learning, but I do enjoy working on other software engineering projects as well. In particular, projects that utilize AI or have an impact on education/productivity.
My most recent internship is at Cisco Systems. As a part of Cisco Research Group, I researched and implemented federated learning algorithms into a platform for AI/ML engineers to run federated learning. I enjoyed reading over new research, creating a deck of slides on the key points, receiving feedback on my design choices, and coding!
I have taken coursework in machine learning, including computer vision and natural language processing. In one of my projects, I tested machine learning models on human genetic interaction profiles from the Dependency Map Project. While in Seattle, attending meetups to discuss new technologies (such as LLMs) became one of my hobbies.
I am looking for full time opportunities starting in May 2024.

I'm a current master's student (major in Computer Science and minor in Mathematics) at the University of Minnesota. I have used Agile Scrum for projects before and developed UML and sequence diagrams to describe an automated election program. Machine learning is a strong passion of mine as well. I am an incoming intern at Cisco, where I will work with federated machine learning this spring. My past experience includes testing models on human genetic interaction profiles using data from the Dependency Map Project. In my academic career, I enjoyed taking machine learning courses including computer vision and natural language processing (where I worked with NLTK). I also automated data processing in my TurbineHub internship, where I built a Python solution to retrieve wind farm electricity generation data using the Energy Information Administration’s API. I also automated pulling digital obstacle files from the Federal Aviation Administration using regular expressions.
Currently, I am looking for a summer internship (my graduation date is in December 2023).

I received my B. S. in computer science with a math minor from the University of Minnesota this past May 2022, and am currently pursuing an M.S. in computer science at the same university. During my academics, I focused on software engineering and machine learning.
Since June 2021, I have taught Python and Scratch to elementary and middle schoolers at the non-profit AiGoLearning. I am currently interning at TurbineHub, where I write code to integrate data on wind turbines and electricity prices. These experiences have taught me to be a clearer communicator and a self-starter.
