It's concerning on a lot of levels and I don't understand it fully myself, it feels like an overreach

Why do you feel entitled to ask your coworkers on dates?

Are you saying that the average person having sex with more than one person is cheating or simply only persuing casual relationships?

I'm not making an assertion about that. Could be either, imo more likely the latter. There are people I've met who are basically poly but balk at the label.

This is horrid. Thank you for sharing this info.

Why do you hang your own self worth on getting a partner over bettering yourself as an individual and building relationships that don't center on romantic partnership?

Stop being dense. The author was offering up the tip as a way to improve one's dating prospects and even went so far as to imply the tip would specifically help with online dating. The tip was nothing of the sort and is specifically worse online than in person because the quality in question already doesn't show much until you're spending a lot of time together and shows less still through dating apps.

IDK about your comment about self worth but you're the one who brought it up and it has a slight odor of projection. If you're average looks and average at text based communication getting first dates is not the bottleneck.

This is great input and advice for contractors. I'm going to start applying this

I would try the meet up website and try to go local to start.

I wanted to ask a general question about how you decide where to pay taxes? Like are you paying income taxes in every city you reside in over certain number of days?

Unless you have a work permit or a visa that allows you to legally work you aren’t going to pay local taxes, because you aren’t legally allowed to work.

In general you won’t qualify for a work permit/permanent residency in most countries. And in general nomads travel on tourist visas (or visa waiver/visa on arrival), and those visas almost never allow you to do any kind of work, even online for a foreign employer. It varies by country. Some countries (and more ever year) offer so-called digital nomad visas, which are actually aimed at entrepreneurs, remote workers, and people who earn passive income in some other country. Those may or may not have local tax obligations, you have to look at every case.

Unless you go around telling everyone you are working remotely there’s little enforcement or attempt to round up nomads pounding on laptops in coffee shops, so digital nomads just fly under the radar working remotely and breaking the local immigration and labor laws. You can’t pay local taxes if you aren’t allowed to work and earn an income in the country in the first place.

I have definitely been fooled by this. I have a pair of headphones that claim to be water proof too, I wonder if that's also a lie

It's really aggravating to me because I use different social media sites for different purposes. I understand that our current business model revolves around making more and more money, but if all of the social media sites are the same then they won't be making any money because people won't want to deal with multiple accounts.
