FYI, the title of the article is actually: ‘Self-serving garbage.’ Wildfire experts escalate fight over saving California forests, but I thought the 'garbage' quote would be taken out of context and would cause readers to pass this up. It's really a great long form piece in a local paper -- the sacbee, and I really enjoyed reading it.
